The 67th Independence Day Celebrations were conducted in the School amidst a lot of pomp and gaiety. The event started with the unfurling of the Indian National Flag to the tune of the National Anthem. This was followed with a cultural show by students which included dance and songs to build amongst the students the feeling of patriotism. The highlight of the show was a powerful YOGA performance by the students. Various Yoga Asanas were demonstrated along with a detailed description of benefits from each asana. In the end Vote of Thanks address was given by the School Principal along with flying of pigeons to make students understand the importance of independence.
A Poster Competition based on the theme of Independence Day was organised and awards and certificates were given to the winning entries by respected Director Madam.
